As race bikes get slacker head angles and wider bars, going with a shorter stem is a viable solution to bring back the steering response that was lost in the process.
I raced with a similar setup on a Rotec PRO DH in the late nineties. It worked really well. Nice to see someone exploring that concept again. Maybe this time it will catch on. Now if only someone would make a frame long enough for a six foot five rider... About Us
